I despise this kind of take. For starters, *why* are people so comfortable mentioning "fascists" and "pedophiles" in the same breath as if our situations are the same? Fuck off. *You* don't even have an accurate view of what's harmful and what's not, so why do you have any business lecturing people about pacifism?

This is also a common theme in fascist and abuse apologist rhetoric and how marginalized people and victims of abuse experience our oppression but of course none of these fuckers would ever recognize that.

None of these sanctimonious fucks would ever acknowledge we exist or that our interests matter, of course. Maybe you should stop judging our existences entirely? "Pedophile" could not be insulting at all if you didn't view pedophilia as bad/wrong in the first place.

Stop using this argument too. It's garbage. I don't want to see that viral post about "sure you hate Nazis but do you love Jewish people" or whatever blah blah blah crossing my dash ever again. As if the two are somehow opposed. As if multitasking doesn't exist. As if Jewish people themselves aren't a part of the conversation/only exist as non-Nazi-hating polite self-advocates. As if antisemites don't also hate it when people say they hate/want to punch Nazis and try to stop that. Violence resistance against oppression is an act of solidarity and an expression of care. The same people who say these (antisemitic dogwhistles) also aggressively tone-police real Jewish people they meet who aren't behind this tokenizing imposed civility agenda.
